I still can't believe someone could take someone's life so fast. the driver that killed our daughter was driving 85 hit her head on not even breaking. going around a curve she was also with her unborn child which was also killed on impact. thank you for this site. |

Enjoyed your web site. Was looking around for ideas on balloon releasing when I heard Celine Dions "Fly" what an appropriate song. Our son Jeffrey died 09-02-04 in a motorcyle accident. He was only 25 years young. I have taken his death and am reaching out to our community by starting Bereaved Parents USA in Troy. Bereaved Parent in St. Peters has helped me and what unique people I have met. I am working on bringing the Angel of Hope to our community as well. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of Jeffrey. We all miss him so very much. He left us a mountain of memories which I am so greatful for, but believe me I would trade these memories to have him back here with us. He left behind dad, mom, brother, sister, son, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We miss his smile, laughter, strength, and hearing the words, "come on munchkin" as he would grap for his sons hand. He was only 2 when Jeffrey died. Court has given us permission to see him once every 6 weeks from 9-5. Our son would not have wanted that but we treasure what we can |

We lost our only son, Joshua on October 10, 2006. He would have been 15 on his birthday, December 6th. We have missed the balloon release date for this year, but hope to have Josh added to the event for next year. As with all parents who have lost a child, there are no adequate words to express our immense grief at his passing. We love and miss him beyond measure. This is a beautiful thing you are doing, I lost my daughter Amy Rene' Barnes March 17th, 2006 in a car wreck, she was killed instantly along with 2 of her friends, Jennifer and Cody. She has left a hole in our lives that will never be filled. I know everyone that has not dealt with the loss of a child, says the pain gets easier, but I don't believe that, it is a pain like no other. I have lost my mother, she was only 53, and I lost a husband when we were only 18 and 19, just 2 1/2 months after we were married, and the pain of those losses are not the same. I hope she knows all is forgiven. |

I go by Terri,I lost my son Mark,Jr. 3 weeks before his 9th b-day. Mark was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. He had neurogenic,pulmonary edema or severe trauma to the head. This year in my town we had a very hard time getting through May. A family was killed without us knowing it for a day. The father knew his wife was about to divorce him, so he thought that if he couldn't have his family no one could. He shot his wife, his two kids, both of them being my best friends, the son like a brother to me also, and then turned the gun on himself. The neighbor didn't find them until the next day. She went to see what was going on because the kids didn't go to school, and the adults didn't come to work. After ringing the doorbell with no one answering she went to the garage, there she saw the wife on the ground. She called the police and they rushed over, they found the husband in the kitchen, he had a not he wrote before pulling the gun on himself. Then they found the two kids in the basement, apparently they were getting ready to go to school. |
