My son Casey died May 31, 1999, after he put a .22 calibre rifle in his mouth and pulled the trigger. It was the worse day of mine, my husband's and two other children's life. Even though it has been seven years, the pain is still there. Time heals all wounds, but wounds like this are too big. Casey was my baby and I miss him so very much that my heart aches every day. I know all those who have lost children know how I feel, this isn't natural, parents should not out live their children. It helps when I write about him because I was told that spirits can read what we write. I have been impressed with all the comments on this web site. We love our children and whatever it takes to relieve the pain, we do it. This does help. Thank you. |

I think it's such a great idea that people are able to come to this website and release a ballon in the memory of their loved one. That means so much to so many! It's been almost 9 months since someone took the life of my loved one, Kevin Aguilar. He was a special person in my life and will be missed so much. It is almost Mother's Day and I miss my son Adam Freund so much. In February of 2001 he took his life. I am doing all I can to keep his memory alive by telling his story to people in prisons, schools, churches, service clubs, just anywhere anyone asks.The pain is unbearable. There isn't a day that goes by I don't think of him, and at night I go outside and look at the stars and I look for him to be there looking down at me. I love you Adam. |

March 24, 2006 | My son Derek Geibe died after he hit the back of a snow plow in Auburn Ia. Derek left a memory that will be charished for ever. Derek lead a fast life of drinking and drug's, But when he left this world the autopsy said he was drug free and there was no alchohol in he's body. I'm so proud of him and the only thing that keep's me holding on is I'll see him again some day.Derek left at age 20,on 12-21-04 leaving a brother Kyle his father Doug and me. 'Balloon Release' ~ it is ironic how I came across this site after our Sweetgirl passed away. Kayla passed away July 14, 2004, one week before her 15th birthday of July 22. In her memory we held a birthday party of her close friends and relatives and released 15 green and purple balloons (her favourite colors). On July 23 was the gathering and we released approximately 200 green and purple balloons. Everybody at the gathering said that was the most incredible service they ever attended ~ it was potluck, held outdoors on a family farm; no pressures, room to roam when needed. This is for one of my best friends DanaMarie, she was killed in November 2002. i miss her more than words can ever say. I recently gave birth 8 and a half months ago to a beautiful baby boy who was born on May 26th, 2005 which also haoppens to be Danamarie's Birthday. I'm sorry she will never get a chance to meet my son whom also shares her birthday. my son underwent major lung surgery at 2 weeks old and with god's blessing he survived, i believe that is also the work of my friend. she will be forever missed |

My daughter and her friends name don't seem to get put on the list, even though I put their names on in plenty of time. I don't understand why theirs aren't there. This is a wonderful tribute for our beloved angels. Thank you for including my precious children, JJ and Michele Wade that died within four months of each other in 2004. We, as loving grieving parents want as many people as possible to remember our beloved angels. I'm having a "Celebration of Life" ceremony on December 31st in Franklin, Virginia, this will be a yearly event. This event is in loving memory of beloved angels from across our nation.
